About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Admiral Insurance Plc. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management, control, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits of our operations and subsidiaries on a risk-based approach
  • Identify and assess risks, and develop recommendations for best practice
  • Provide assurance to senior executives and the audit committee on the effectiveness of our risk management processes
  • Develop and maintain effective lines of contact with managers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Travel overseas as required to conduct audits and provide assurance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional qualification such as a PIIA, MIIA, CIA, CA, ACA, or ACCA
  • Audit experience, preferably in financial services
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in person
  • Confidence in speaking to executive directors, the audit committee, and board members
  • Flexibility in your approach to work
