About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Forklift Driver to join our dispatch team at a well-established manufacturing firm in the Gateshead area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work safely and efficiently as part of the dispatch team
  • Operate a counter-balance forklift truck to move goods around the warehouse
  • Meet daily targets and effectively carry out key processes
  • Use a computerized stock and control system to manage inventory
  • Prepare and dispatch finished goods to customers
  • Pick materials for the factory floor and read product codes and aisle numbers
Requirements
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Reliable and flexible with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable using computers and able to work well under pressure
  • Hold an in-date counterbalance certificate and a valid driver's license
