Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in our Disablement Service Centre.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work accurately and methodically, and possess a willingness to learn and develop their skills. You will be expected to ensure that daily cleaning is performed, stores and equipment are tidied away, and patient areas are maintained in line with infection control measures.
This role involves basic Reception duties, which will include providing and receiving routine information to/from patients, occasionally of a sensitive nature. You will also be actively involved in the prevention of Hospital-acquired infections by adhering to Policies relating to infection, prevention, and control.
