About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team, providing property maintenance and repair services to our care homes and other areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and complete all aspects of general maintenance and repair in our homes.
  • Carry out maintenance tasks as required, working with the wider maintenance team across our homes.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and report any issues to management.
  • Work one Saturday every 6 weeks.
Requirements
  • Experience in all aspects of general maintenance and the ability to carry out this work to a high standard.
  • Knowledge of plastering, building, and decorating to provide an efficient and comprehensive maintenance service.
  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • Safe use of powered hand and bench tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the wider team.
  • Confident use of IT systems, including Jira.
  • Full driving license and flexibility to travel across our homes.
