Education Support Assistant

A role exists for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at an esteemed Special Needs School in Great Yarmouth.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting students with diverse special educational needs, aged 5-19 years old. The school caters to children and young people with Autism, Challenging Behaviour, and Complex Needs.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with teachers to tailor support to individual student requirements.
- Provide assistance during classroom activities, ensuring student engagement and understanding.
- Offer one-on-one support for personal care and Social Emotional needs.
- Implement behavior management strategies and maintain a positive learning environment.
- A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a school or care setting in the UK.
- Proficiency in English Language.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Position: Teaching Assistant.
- Contract Type: Full-time (Term Time Only), Temporary to Permanent.
- Salary: £25,492 - £32,939 per annum (£13/hr - £14/hr).
