Midwife Clinical Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic midwife to join our Labour Ward Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as a Band 7 Labour Ward Co-ordinator and Clinical Lead.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the service, co-ordinating patient flow, and utilising exceptional interpersonal skills to support junior staff and work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the clinical lead in the day-to-day activity on our busy Labour Ward
  • Co-ordinate patient flow and oversee the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care
  • Ensure safe and effective clinical practice and maintain smooth running of the service
  • Enhance women's/birthing people's experience of care and ensure their needs are placed at the centre of care delivery

About the Role:

As a Band 7 Labour Ward Co-ordinator and Clinical Lead, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team to deliver high quality, patient-centred care. You will be responsible for leading and supporting midwives to work as autonomous practitioners, placing women/birthing people and their families at the centre of personalised care planning.
