We are seeking an experienced Learning Coach to join our team at North Oxfordshire Academy. As a Learning Coach, you will work closely with the SENDCo and Assistant Principal to provide learning support to pupils who require additional help to overcome barriers to learning.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, excellent numeracy and literacy skills, and experience or understanding of children with varying needs. They will also have strong IT skills and experience of working within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide learning support to pupils who require additional help to overcome barriers to learning
- Work closely with the SENDCo and Assistant Principal to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Support pupils with moderate, severe, and multiple learning difficulties and/or behavioural, social, communication, sensory, or physical disabilities
- Assist with phonics and writing support
