Job Overview
  • Preparation of management accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, is a key responsibility of this position.
  • Statutory accounts must be prepared in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS.
  • The successful candidate will handle VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is also a part of this role.
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring timely submission of accounts is crucial.
  • A diverse portfolio of clients will be managed, with the primary contact for accounting and advisory services.
  • Supervision and development of junior staff members is another important aspect of this position.
Requirements
  • Experience with management accounts and statutory accounts is essential, along with the ability to start without training.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice is required.
  • ACCA qualification or part-qualification is necessary.
  • Audit experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency with SAGE, IRIS, and XERO is advantageous.
