Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Central South team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain definitions of project requirements, including advising at a strategic level at the project inception stage.
  • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilized throughout the project.
  • Develop and implement resource plans and procure resources as needed.
  • Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team.
  • Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
  • Manage the change control process and develop and agree budgets and control forecast and actual costs against them.
  • Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Identify and monitor project risks and plan and implement risk mitigations.
  • Prepare formal project progress and other reports.
Requirements:
  • Candidates will ideally be degree qualified (Civil Engineering).
  • Experience on large scheme projects (£100m plus).
  • Preferred if chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS, etc.
