Senior Transplant Surgery Fellow

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Transplant Surgery Fellow to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our transplant unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the organ retrieval team in Cambridge National Organ Retrieval Service (NORS) with a high degree of autonomy
- Participate in on-call commitments 1:6, attending donor hospitals as directed by NHS-BT
- Become proficient in retrieving liver, pancreas, and kidney organs from brain-dead and circulatory dead donors
- Deliver normothermic regional perfusion (NRP) retrievals and machine perfusion procedures
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must have:
- Fulfillment of GMC Registration and Licence to Practice requirements
- Demonstrable skills in English language proficiency, enabling effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues
- A willingness to undergo Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB)
We offer a competitive salary range of £70,425 to £72,211 per annum, pro-rata, reflecting your exceptional skills and qualifications.
