Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant Opportunity

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant on a 1-week contract, with potential for extension at the client's discretion. If you have a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed by a GPhC accredited route, we encourage you to apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver efficient dispensary operations and minimize dispensing losses.
  • Ensure accurate handling and dispensing of all medicines, including NHS and private prescriptions.
  • Comply with legal and professional requirements, as well as Company SOPs.
  • Assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate.
  • Provide safe and accurate advice on medicines, including OTC medication as required.
Requirements:
  • Hold a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed by a GPhC accredited route.
  • Have experience working in a community pharmacy, ideally with experience using Pharmacy Manager software.
Important Notes:
  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You must have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires a basic DBS.
