Job Opportunity: Perioperative Care Specialist

About the Role

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Perioperative Care Specialist to join our team in theatres. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our theatres department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient theatre operations
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient safety and quality of care

Person Specification:

  • NMC registration as a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
  • Proven experience in perioperative care, preferably in a theatre setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
