We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a reputable Construction Consultancy based in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a range of projects across various sectors, including Housing, Healthcare, Education, Commercial & Industrial, Retail, Leisure, and Interiors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a construction consultancy or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and project management software.
