We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a local SEND school in PE11 1EJ. The successful candidate will work with pupils with Autism (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their desired outcomes.

The School:

  • Small class sizes, allowing for personalized attention and support
  • Pupils with a range of needs, including ASD and SEMH
  • Emphasis on teaching to the ECHP (Education, Health and Care Plan) to achieve desired outcomes

The Ideal Candidate:

  • No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Awareness of ASD and the challenges it can bring
  • Ability to provide personal care and support as needed
  • An engaging and supportive personality to help pupils thrive

The Role:

  • Full-time, long-term position (academic year)
  • Available from September, with regular interviews
  • Challenging but rewarding role, with opportunities for growth and development
