Van Driver Stock Controller Position

Our client in the Healthcare industry requires a dedicated and meticulous Stock Controller to join their team in the Midlands, United Kingdom. This role involves managing the stock control of our client's products following deliveries from HGV drivers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct stock control at various hospital sites across the Midlands.
- Receive and check deliveries from HGV drivers, ensuring all products are accurately accounted for.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring adequate supply and avoiding shortages.
- Utilise an iPad for accurate and efficient stock taking.
- Operate power pallet trucks to move stock safely and efficiently within hospital environments.
- Record and report any discrepancies in stock levels.
- Liaise with hospital staff to ensure stock is stored correctly and is easily accessible.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all stock handling activities.
- Travel between multiple sites using a company-provided van, adhering to scheduled visits and timelines.
Requirements: Previous experience in a stock control or inventory management role, preferably within the healthcare industry, excellent organisational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with hospital staff and HGV drivers.
Salary: £12.50 per hour (approximate annual salary: £26,000), company van provided for work-related travel, opportunity to work within a vital sector, contributing to the efficiency of healthcare services, professional development and training opportunities.
