SEO Executive Role Overview

Proximity Recruitment is seeking a skilled SEO Executive to join a thriving PLC in Northamptonshire. As a key member of the marketing and digital team, you will play a crucial role in improving the effectiveness of SEO across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate local technical investigations, such as website crawls and Google Search Console reports, with the services provided by the SME.
* Monitor Google Search Console to ensure the website is being crawled and indexed effectively.
* Report on SEO performance, including visibility, traffic, share of market, share of voice, and technical performance considerations.
* Manage and implement 301 redirects.
* Investigate and address 404 errors, working with merchandisers and content teams.
* Collaborate with external suppliers on SEO-related tasks.
* Work closely with internal and external software development teams to ensure technical SEO requirements are accurately documented.
* Manage local SEO implementation, including on-page optimization and maintenance of local business data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This is a 3-day office, 2-day home role that offers a great work-life balance and the opportunity to work with a growing team in an award-winning business.
