Job Summary

Sopra Steria - UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing effective commercial management and advice to ensure business plans are achieved and commercial risks are minimized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic commercial guidance to clients within the designated sector, ensuring alignment with Sopra Steria business controls.
  • Operate commercial frameworks and assure bid responses to meet business targets.
  • Ensure delivery performance and contract compliance align with commercial plans.
  • Monitor and control account-specific financial processes, including financial monitoring, forecasting, billing, and cost control.
  • Identify opportunities for profit improvement and potential commercial or contractual risks, implementing mitigating actions to minimize exposure.
  • Support the promotion of commercial awareness within the Account.
  • Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual matters to colleagues within the specified field.
  • Deliver regular reports to the Commercial Directors for the Sector and Customer Account Teams on the commercial health of the assigned area.
  • Contribute to the development of best practice commercial management, business rules, processes, and controls.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in contract management.
  • Ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
