Job Description

The role of Leisure Operations Manager at Holiday Inn Leeds Garforth involves overseeing the daily operations of our leisure club, ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met, and delivering company-approved fitness programmes to promote member behavior change and maximize personal training.

This position requires a pro-active approach to pool plant maintenance and operational best practice to maintain high standards of hygiene in both the pool and spas. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing financial performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and taking necessary actions as required.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Leisure Operations Manager will contribute to the creation of a positive work culture focused on excellence, support the team, and engage with members to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Deliver and manage company-approved fitness programmes
  • Review financial performance and take necessary actions
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene in pool and spa areas

What You'll Bring:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have supervisory or managerial experience in the leisure/fitness/spa industry, along with relevant qualifications such as Pool Water Safety Qualification of Pool Responder, First Aid at Work Qualification, CIMSPA fitness professional qualification of Level 2 or above, and Pool Plant Operators Qualification at Level 3.
