Financial Business Partner

Buro Happold is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business by providing financial expertise and guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and control monthly management and project accounts, as well as annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Attend regular finance project reviews for the assigned portfolio, providing guidance and challenge to project performance.
- Review debtors to manage risks for the project portfolio and possess knowledge of project and operational risks and opportunities within the region and project portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with the Project Operations Team to provide financial and commercial decision support.
- Present financial analysis and monthly financial commentary to project leadership teams and liaise with other Group and Regional finance teams.
- Control and own multiple cost centres within the business, handle quarterly WIP reporting for the project portfolio, and act as the point of contact for financial issues on assigned cost centres.
- Compile ad hoc reports, presentations, and information requests, ensuring adherence to local finance systems and processes.
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Finalist or Fully Qualified.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the capability to establish and manage financial support systems.
- Experienced in operating at a comparable level of responsibility, delivering technical accounting and financial insights while guiding and supporting both strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Adopts a positive and collaborative approach to fostering and developing relationships with key non-financial stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint and Agresso accounting system would be advantageous but is not essential.
