Job Description for Logistics Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics Operations Coordinator. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics activities, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Goods Receipt and Storage: Receive and inspect goods delivered to our warehouse, ensuring that they are in good condition and accurately matched to our records.
  • Pallet Management: Manage the organization and security of pallets within the warehouse, ensuring that all goods are properly stored and easily accessible when needed.
  • Dispatch and Delivery: Coordinate the loading and dispatch of goods to customers, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies or issues to management.
Requirements:
  • Counterbalance Forklift Training: Possess a valid counterbalance forklift license and demonstrate expertise in operating this equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Loading and Unloading: Ability to load and unload goods from vehicles using manual handling techniques, following safe working practices at all times.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Time Management and Organization: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
