We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at LGH Hotels Management. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, overseeing food preparation and ensuring that all dishes are of the highest quality, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to implement standard recipes, and maintain food costs.
- Lead and manage a high-volume kitchen team, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations are running smoothly, and that all health and safety regulations are being met.
Requirements
- Several years of experience working in a similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong background in a variety of cuisines and knowledge of modern cooking techniques and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, as well as a proven ability to lead and manage a team.
- Experience in menu planning, cost control, and ordering supplies.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team and front-of-house staff.
