Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Residential Support Worker at Work With Vista, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks.
  • Developing and implementing individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
  • Providing childcare support, engaging children in educational and recreational activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or needs.
  • Driving clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
  • Utilising IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families where applicable.
  • Experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable.
  • Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
  • Previous experience supporting children with various needs is an advantage.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as needed.
  • Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and reporting on client progress.
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position with 39 permanent hours per week, offering a competitive salary range of £25,512 - £27,033 (plus sleeps paid at £40). You will also receive an extensive benefits package and opportunities for career progression.
