We are a renowned agency offering paid classroom experience to graduate students. Our Graduate Teaching Assistants work with local primary schools in the Wakefield area, providing one-on-one or small group support to pupils with various needs.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking valuable classroom experience alongside their course or potentially moving onto a teacher training course. The successful candidate will have a degree or teaching degree and some understanding of SEN.

The estimated salary for this position is £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will receive top rates of pay, more CPD than any other agency, and a great referral bonus scheme.

To be successful, you will need:

  • A Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Some understanding of SEN and the desire to work with Primary School aged pupils.
  • Manual Handling, Team Teach Training or Personal Care Training is desirable although not essential.
  • Experience of working in an education environment with children.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
