About the Role
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a highly skilled Category Manager Indirects to join our team. As a key member of our Procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize cost, value, and service levels for our indirect spend portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies to drive value and savings through robust and disciplined category management.
- Lead the end-to-end management of local ANJ Procurement Category Strategies under the ANZ Operations spend portfolio, which includes Logistics, Fleet Utilities, Agricultural and Factory Services, Consumables, and other Manufacturing-related services.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the spend categories within their remit, and build a comprehensive insight on relevant industries and market trends.
- Build, maintain, and execute a healthy 12-month rolling pipeline of sourcing and procurement initiatives that support KHC's short-, mid-, and long-term strategies.
- Engage support and agreement for strategies from key stakeholders to ensure optimal implementation and compliance.
- Lead supplier relationship management (SRM) and supplier development programs in partnership with key stakeholders and strategic suppliers to deliver on strategic agenda and drive competitive advantage for the business.
- Promote effective management of more than 500 suppliers to sustain value throughout the life of the contract.
- Monitor and review supplier performance and execute KPI audits where appropriate.
- Work closely with the Head of Indirects and EPDM procurement team to identify opportunities to continuously improve cost, value, and service levels.
- Have the courage to challenge the status quo and a mindset to continually improve ways of working.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in a related discipline is mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.

- Strong work ethic.
- Worked within a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Experience in negotiation.
- Knowledge of contract development and implementation.
- Proficient in Excel and business procurement systems.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
