Culinary Operations Manager Job at Fable Christchurch Hotel

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Fable Christchurch Hotel in Christchurch Central. As a Culinary Operations Manager, you will play a key role in leading the Culinary operations and contributing to the hotel's success.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of previous kitchen experience and a proven track record of managing kitchen staff, preparing and controlling daily food demands, and maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, be physically fit, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Culinary operations, including menu planning and implementation.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring.
  • Control daily food demands and maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality.
  • Perform daily kitchen tasks, including purchasing and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Current eligibility to work in New Zealand.
  • Food Safety certification.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
