Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated educator to join our client school in Greater Manchester, as a Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher.

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a passionate professional who can make a real impact in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver tailored lessons for students with SEN, taking into account their individual needs and abilities.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong, supportive relationships with students, colleagues, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Functional Skills Training: Deliver Functional Skills lessons to empower students to thrive and develop essential skills for everyday life.
  • Adaptability: Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, ensuring progress and development.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience: Experience working with SEN students
  • Confidence: Confidence in planning, delivering, and adapting lessons
  • Ideal Qualification: Ideally, experience with Functional Skills
