About the Role

The Clinical Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and governance within the care home. Collaborating closely with nurses and carers, the primary focus will be on maintaining exemplary nursing and clinical care standards for residents. Supported by the management team, the Clinical Lead's contributions will be vital to all clinical delivery aspects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing team to maintain high standards of clinical care and governance
  • Collaborate with nurses and carers to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff to promote best practices
Requirements
  • NMC registration as a nurse
  • Relevant post-registration experience in a care home setting
  • Strong clinical skills and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
