Invictus Group Shift Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

A leading service provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team in a temporary capacity.

Job Summary

This is a short-term opportunity with an immediate start, working on a large site. The successful candidate will have good experience working in a building maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Fault finding and rectifying issues
  • Conducting regular fire alarm testing and drills, ensuring equipment is in working order and updating the fire alarm log book
  • Liaising with management regarding health and safety procedures, ongoing repairs and faults, maintenance and building services
  • Assisting with basic fabric duties on site
Requirements
  • Minimum C&G level/NVQ 2 in mechanical engineering or plumbing
  • Experience in commercial building services
  • General maintenance experience
  • Time served in an apprenticeship is an advantage

Working Hours

Shift 4 on 4 off - 2 days 7am-7pm, 2 nights 7pm-7am, 4 days off. First couple of weeks 8am-4pm while getting to know the site.

Hourly Pay Rate

£25.38p/h via umbrella
