About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Baby Room Manager to join our team at Bright Horizons Little Stars Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of early years professionals to deliver exceptional care and education to our youngest children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of early years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-2 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging and stimulating learning environments that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure the nursery's policies and procedures are implemented and maintained, including safeguarding and child protection.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery's curriculum and educational programs.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and relevant legislation.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and wider legislative requirements for working with children.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
