Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Medical Writer with a deep interest in science and medical communications to join our growing team. As a key member of our Copy team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing in-depth scientific knowledge of allocated accounts and shaping client brand communications accordingly.
  • Taking the lead on scientific discussions with medics and external experts, driving insights and ideas that elevate our work.
  • Creating high-quality content for complex projects, often working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Aligning messaging and content with brand strategy, ensuring seamless delivery of projects.
  • Collaborating with internal colleagues to provide expert advice and guidance on brands and therapy areas.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, guidelines, and best practices to enhance the quality of our medical writing.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise, work closely with our Editorial and PromoMats teams, and contribute to the development of innovative communications that make a real difference in people's lives.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should possess:

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant science field (essential) or a postgraduate qualification or PhD (desirable).
  • Proven experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency or similar environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different styles and formats.
  • A strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as flexible working arrangements, private healthcare, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
