About the Role:

As a key member of the Campus Engineering Team, you will support both shift and technical teams by delivering planned, reactive, and remedial tasks. Your expertise in building fabric maintenance and value-added change-work delivery will contribute to the development of the automated environment across the campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver internal maintenance, repairs, and improvements, reducing external contractor dependence in a 24-hour environment.
  • Develop skills in campus asset maintenance and repairs, including inspection regimes, record-keeping, and various trade disciplines.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Technician team to achieve first-fix on building fabric, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Maintain effective communication links with Engineering Shift Managers and resolve operational issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Strong vocational background with proven construction and engineering experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety legislation in a commercial and industrial environment.
