About the Role

Zoocha is seeking a seasoned UX Consultant to join our growing Experience Team as a Lead UX Consultant. This is a new role within the agency, reporting directly to the Creative Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic experience design work and UX consultancy offering
  • Help discover, define, and design experiences that deliver ongoing value to clients and their audiences
  • Work closely with the creative and UI design team to feed into the strategy and design of digital products, services, and experiences
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure output is grounded in research, data, and insights
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors
  • Design and facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders and drive design decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' agency experience in a senior UX design/consultancy role
  • Exceptional UX design craft paired with a strategic, consultative mindset
  • Passionate about UX and keen to share that passion with the team
  • Deep practical experience of planning, conducting, analyzing, and presenting back of quantitative and qualitative research studies
  • Solid proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data and experience of conversion rate optimization approaches and tools
  • Significant experience creating UX/CX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, journey/experience maps, user flows, personas, information architecture, etc.
  • Experience creating user stories and product backlogs
  • Ability to turn insights into strategic recommendations and help join the dots for clients through compelling narratives and storytelling
  • Strong experience of designing and working with complex, global design systems, with a deep proficiency in Figma prototyping and testing
  • Good understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines best practices
  • Experience of designing and facilitating workshops
  • Solid experience of designing native mobile apps (iOS and Android) and with a strong understanding of native mobile app design best practices
  • Good commercial awareness, helping ensure work is delivered on time within budget
  • A good understanding of creative and emerging technologies and how they can be applied to innovative and immersive experiences
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts in plain English to people from other disciplines and backgrounds
