Zoocha is seeking a seasoned UX consultant to join our growing Experience Team. As a senior member of our multidisciplinary team, you will help lead our strategic experience design work and UX consultancy offering.
You will play a key role in helping discover, define and design experiences, ensuring our output is grounded in research, data and insights, and delivers ongoing value to our clients and their audiences.
This is a hybrid working role, with the flexibility to work remotely some of the time, but with an expectation that you'll be based at our Hertford office at least one day per week. Some travel to clients is also expected.
You MUST be based in the UK, ideally within regular commuting distance of our Hertford office, Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. You MUST have a VISA or work permit already.
Minimum of 5 years' agency experience, you'll currently be in a senior UX design/ consultancy role and looking for your next step up. Exceptional UX design craft paired with a strategic, consultative mindset is required.
Passionate about all things UX, and keen to share that passion in order to inspire the team - mentoring, coaching and leading them to reach their full potential.
Deep practical experience of planning, conducting, analysing and presenting back of quantitative and qualitative research studies is essential.
Solid proficiency of analysing and interpreting data (e.g. Significant experience creating UX/ CX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, journey/ experience maps, user flows, personas, information architecture etc.) is required.
The ability to turn insights into strategic recommendations, and help join the dots for clients through compelling narratives and storytelling is essential.
Strong experience of designing and working with complex, global design systems, with a deep proficiency in Figma prototyping and testing is required.
Good understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines best practices is essential.
Solid experience of designing native mobile apps (iOS and Android) and with a strong understanding of native mobile app design best practices is required.
Good commercial awareness, helping ensure work is delivered on time within budget is essential.
A good understanding of creative and emerging technologies and how they can be applied to innovative and immersive experiences is required.
An exceptional communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts in plain English to people from other disciplines and backgrounds is essential.
Ideally experience of working within GDS guidelines with a good knowledge of Government Digital Service standards and inclusive, accessible design for public sector clients is required.
Ideally some experience of UX content design and content testing is essential.
Line management experience including personal development planning, performance management, coaching and mentoring is required.
Flexible working plus the ability to work from any of our offices (UK, Spain, Brazil) for periods of time is offered.
