Role Overview

Academics is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Support Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with Autism and Speech Needs, and will work closely with our teaching staff and therapists to deliver specific interventions that aim to boost students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support a small class of students with Autism and Speech Needs, working in partnership with teaching staff and therapists to deliver interventions that aim to improve students' learning and development.
  2. Deliver specific interventions to students with Speech, Language and Communication Needs, working in small groups and one-to-one.
  3. Work closely with the school's teaching staff, therapists and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to supporting students with Autism and Speech Needs.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to support students with Autism and Speech Needs, working closely with teaching staff and therapists to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
