About the Job

We are seeking an experienced caretaker to join our premises team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of our sites, ensuring a safe and secure environment for students and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in facilities maintenance, with experience of working with young people and driving minibus vehicles (D1 driving qualification beneficial).

The role involves working on a rota system, attending to premises throughout the day and during out-of-hours lettings. This includes general maintenance, property and grounds safety, security, and supervision of cleaning staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and minor works
  2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and risk assessments
  3. Monitor and report any incidents or accidents
  4. Supervise cleaning staff and ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  5. Drive school minibuses as required
