Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide acoustic modelling support and contribute to the development of marine acoustic equipment and mitigation functions.
  • Manage assigned projects, including providing in-depth support during sailing as required.
  • Assist with providing technical training for acoustic equipment users.
  • Design equipment survey packages and infrastructure for new and existing vessels or work platforms.
  • Plan mobilisations, create deck plans, lifting plans, attend project meetings, and manage mobilisations when needed.
  • Advise on the capabilities of PAMS regarding country-specific legislation on marine acoustic mitigation measures during seismic and other marine activities.
  • Ensure adherence to and promotion of company QA and HSSE procedures.
Requirements:
  • BEng/BSc in a relevant discipline (Acoustics, Engineering Electronics & Mechanical, or similar).
  • Acoustics related degree or academic course (desirable).
  • 5+ years of experience in the field as a senior operator in some capacity.
  • Use of acoustics software packages - Python, MATLAB, or similar.
  • Driving license.
