This is an exciting opportunity for a Wiring and Installation Technician to join our team at GPS Ltd in Bristol. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in the fitting and wiring of sub-assemblies and further installation into various enclosures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out the fitting and wiring of sub-assemblies and further installation into enclosures.
- Drilling, tapping, and other assembly tasks as well as wiring to detailed schematic drawings.
- Fitting mounting rails, idents, trunking, and components to metal backplates.
- Fitting wired assemblies within boxes and large enclosures.
- Torque setting screws and bolts using calibrated equipment.
- Installing copper busbar systems.
As a successful candidate, you will have demonstrable experience wiring control panels and/or assemblies, possess equipment assembly, component, and cable wiring skills, and be capable of panel preparation.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
