Safety Engineer Vacancy

NES Fircroft Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Safety Engineer to join their team in Norwich.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in safety engineering and a strong ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safety engineering support to the SNS operation, including conducting risk assessments and technical reviews.
  • Develop QRA and Cost Benefit Analysis reports, as well as Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Assessment.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies on matters of HSE, understanding regulatory drivers and providing guidance to NES Fircroft Ltd on matters of regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities and efficiencies to improve overall QSHE standards and performance throughout the SNS Operation.
Requirements
  • A higher technical qualification within an engineering field, e.g., Process Safety, Chemical or Mechanical, is mandatory. Chartered in mechanical, chemical/process engineering is desirable.
  • 10+ years' experience in Safety Engineering in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Software knowledge MS Office (Word/Excel mandatory), PHAST, PHA-Pro, BowTie XP, FLARESIM.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including a pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.
