BBC Studios is seeking a highly motivated Content Creator to join their team. As an Editorial Trainee, you will work alongside the script team and develop your writing skills in a dynamic and creative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and developing their skillset in writing shadow script notes for writers and have the opportunity to Script Edit one episode. In addition, they will spend three months in the story office where they will report to the Story Producer and/or Story Editors.

This is an exciting year-long placement that offers the chance to gain a full understanding of creative problem solving throughout the script and story process. The ideal candidate will display a flair for writing, ability to work to tight deadlines, and think creatively and outside the box.

As part of this role, you will gain experience in administrative and office organisational skills and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. You will also have the opportunity to work on high-quality, high-profile cost-effective drama and deliver high-profile, high-quality drama.

We offer a competitive salary package, including £22,000 per annum + London Weighting at £5319, 26 days holiday, and parental leave for new parents of up to a year with 18 weeks fully paid.
