Strategic Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to undertake a key leadership role within the ICB PMO team, as well as both ICB and System Financial Recovery Programmes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing long-term strategic plans, leading the development and implementation of detailed annual programmes of work, and delivering strategies including key objectives and milestones.
They will also lead on the formulation of highly complex programme plans spanning multiple years, produce business appraisals and programme plans, and detail cases for change.
Additionally, the candidate will lead service improvement opportunities, which provide better outcomes for patients, and support the development of services and projects, ensuring inter-dependencies across multiple partners and transformation programmes are understood and meet the needs of the local populations.
About the RoleThis is a two-year fixed secondment opportunity, offering hybrid working between office and home. The office base is Pemberton House, Sunderland, but the candidate may also be required to work from other ICB offices as needed.
Applicants who meet the Fit and Proper Person Requirements (FPPR) will require additional pre-employment checks in line with CQC and NHS England statutory guidance.
Person Specification- Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience
- Significant specialist knowledge and experience across a number of areas including transformational change, performance management, financial management, staff management
