Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading provider of Occupational Health services in the North East. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering a range of activities to clients across the region, including health surveillance, vaccinations, and workplace assessments.



Key Tasks:
  • Conduct health surveillance activities, including spirometry, audiometry, vision testing, skin checks, T3 HAVS assessments, and general observations.
  • Administer vaccinations and perform venepuncture procedures.
  • Carry out workplace assessments, focusing on DSE and ergonomic factors.
  • Screen new starters through paper or face-to-face interviews.
  • Undertake sickness absence or manager assessments and generate reports.

Requirements and Benefits:

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience within the full remit of occupational health. A degree in Occupational Health is also required, along with registration as a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC PIN. Additionally, a UK driving license and your own car are essential for travel throughout the region. The salary for this position is up to £45,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time), depending on experience, and includes a comprehensive package of company pension, healthcare benefits, and 33 days' leave (including bank holidays).
