Role Overview:

This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established provider of Occupational Health services in the North East. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering health surveillance activities, vaccinations, and workplace assessments to various clients across the region.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct health surveillance activities, including spirometry, audiometry, vision testing, skin checks, T3 HAVS assessments, and general observations.
  • Administer vaccinations and perform venepuncture procedures.
  • Carry out workplace assessments, focusing on DSE and ergonomic factors.
  • Screen new starters through paper or face-to-face interviews.
  • Undertake sickness absence or manager assessments and generate reports.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience within the full remit of occupational health. A degree in Occupational Health is also required, along with registration as a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC PIN. Additionally, a UK driving license and your own car are essential for travel throughout the region.


Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is up to £45,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time), depending on experience. The company offers a comprehensive package, including a company pension, healthcare benefits, and 33 days' leave (including bank holidays).
