Job Details:
As an Apprentice Lead Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for repairing, replacing, and laying new gas mains and services while gaining a Level 2 Gas Network Operations qualification over 2 years. You'll work on gas service/mains replacement activities, excavating in public and private highways, and using computer field systems. With opportunities for progression and career growth in the energy industry, this role offers a competitive salary of £30.7k per annum (Plus Bonus upon Completion of Apprenticeship).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Motivation to develop new skills and grow a career within SGN
  2. A friendly and approachable attitude when working as part of a team
  3. Excellent customer service skills
  4. A full and valid driving licence is essential
  5. Comfortable with technology (for using field-based systems)
  6. At least English & maths GCSE level 1-3 (or D-G) or Functional skills level 1 in both
