Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Psychosocial Substance Misuse Caseload Holder to join our team at HMP Berwyn in North Wales. This exciting opportunity involves working with a diverse client group, including individuals with complex needs and histories.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the substance misuse needs of clients while managing a caseload of patients.
  • Promote recovery and reduce the likelihood of reoffending through evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and deliver group interventions and contribute to the development of the service.
  • Work flexibly across a 7-day shift pattern, including bank holidays, and be responsive to the needs of the environment.

Requirements:

  • Current knowledge of substance misuse issues and a degree-level qualification or substantial equivalent experience in substance misuse services.
  • Experience working in substance misuse or with offenders, including case managing and delivering group interventions.
