About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Educational Leader to join our team as Assistant Head at Cambian Dunbroch School.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Headteacher in the overall management of the school, including strategic planning and the implementation of school policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Headteacher in the overall management of the school.
  2. Oversee the development and delivery of a tailored curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students.
  3. Mentor and support teaching staff, providing professional development opportunities.
  4. Ensure the well-being and academic progress of all students.
  5. Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
  6. Ensure the school meets all regulatory requirements and maintains the highest standards of safeguarding.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: QTS
  2. Proven experience in a leadership role within an SEN setting.
  3. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  4. In-depth understanding of SEN best practices and current educational policies.
  5. Compassionate, resilient, and committed to the ethos of inclusive education.
