Salary: £140 - £175 Per day

Job DescriptionJob Duties:
  • Teach mathematics to students following the national curriculum
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and enriching learning environment
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for mathematics
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level
  • Experience working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Further professional development in education or mathematics
  • Experience in preparing students for examinations
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
