Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team as a Disrepair and Legal Building Survey Professional. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and diagnosing areas of disrepair in residential properties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building surveying, with a focus on disrepair and legal issues. You will work closely with clients to identify and prioritize disrepair issues, prepare expert witness reports, and develop strategies for remediation and repair. Your technical expertise, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills will make you a valuable asset to our team.

In addition to your technical skills, you should have a strong understanding of the property management environment, with a wide range of building types, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys and diagnose areas of disrepair in residential properties.
  • Prepare expert witness reports and testify in court as required.
  • Develop strategies for remediation and repair of disrepair issues.
  • Work closely with clients to identify and prioritize disrepair issues.
Requirements
  • MRICS or FRICS qualified.
  • Substantial technical surveying experience in the Property Management environment.
  • Demonstrable successful project delivery experience managing contractors and consultants.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
