Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to lead our Tobacco Dependency Services across University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Health Promotion Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based programmes to support patients in quitting smoking. Your expertise will enable us to achieve the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle Version 3 and the NHS Long Term Plan targets.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative health promotion strategies. You will be responsible for managing a team of Health Improvement Advisors for Tobacco Dependency, providing guidance on best practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will facilitate effective partnerships with local authorities, Public Health colleagues, and Smoking cessation stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Tobacco Dependency Treatment programmes in Maternity and Acute Inpatient settings
- Manage a team of Health Improvement Advisors for Tobacco Dependency
- Develop and implement clinical policies and guidelines related to Tobacco Dependency
- Analyze trends and propose remedial actions using IT software and systems
- Provide regular reports on project progress

Requirements:
- Extensive line management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of training and facilitation
- Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets
- Familiarity with data management and reporting

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
