Job Role: Finance Assistant & Credit Controller

You will play a key role in supporting our credit control team by managing debtor accounts, ensuring timely payments, and minimizing financial risk to the company. This involves maintaining accurate records, following up on outstanding invoices, and providing administrative support to the credit control function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raising invoices, credit notes, and issuing statements
  • Understanding client contracts and billing according to their terms
  • Liaising with other teams and account managers to ensure smooth workflow
  • Enter, reconcile, and post cash receipts into the accounting system daily
  • Conducting research on account payments received and contacting customers accordingly
  • Responding to questions and issues relating to Accounts Receivable
  • Printing daily invoices, monthly statements, and ad hoc copy invoice requests
Competitive Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary dependent on qualifications and experience (£25,000 - £30,000), a contributory pension scheme up to 6%, life assurance, and a range of employee benefits including discounted gym membership and cycle to work scheme. You will also receive starting annual leave of 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
