About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Team Lead to join our team at Novuna Vehicle Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the database team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our vehicle data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the database team, ensuring the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee the maintenance and updating of our vehicle database, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with manufacturers and dealerships to extract and clarify key data and vehicle discounts.
  • Allocate workload and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage the team inbox for internal and external queries, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Keep the quoting system up-to-date for customers, ensuring accurate and timely quotes.
  • Analyze and extract data from report spreadsheets, providing insights and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a database team.
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly experienced with Excel.
  • Ability to take a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and coach colleagues.
